Job Description
We are looking for an IPR Assistant to join our legal team in Ahmedabad. This role is for someone who has a basic understanding of Intellectual Property and wants to grow their career in a supportive law firm. You will work on real cases involving Trademark and Copyrights.
Key Responsibilities
- Filing applications for art, books, software, and videos.
- Managing letters and emails regarding Trademark and copyright mistakes or objections.
- Support with basic paperwork for licensing or ownership changes.
- Updating the office diary to make sure no deadlines are missed.
- Finding information on new IP rules or court decisions.
- Drafting simple legal notices and organizing case files.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: LL.B. or a specialized Diploma/Degree in Intellectual Property Law.
- Domain Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Indian Copyright Act and Indian Trademark Act.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and experience with IP search databases.
- Experience: 6 months –2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read and write clearly in English.
