Position: UX/UI SENIOR DESIGNER

Senior UX/UI Designer (Founding-Level Product)

Solid Stride Technology Partners | Calgary (Hybrid Preferred) | Contract → Full-Time

Solid Stride Technology Partners is building a category-defining mobile platform in the public safety and trust-tech space.

We are seeking a top-tier Senior UX/UI Designer to help architect the experience layer of a product that could one day be used by millions.

This is not a surface-level UI role.

This is foundational, systems-level design.

You will be working under NDA on an early-stage, high-impact mobile platform currently entering pilot readiness.

The Opportunity

• Architect intuitive, low-cognitive-load mobile experiences
• Design emotionally intelligent interaction flows
• Translate complex system logic into elegant user journeys
• Create trust-forward onboarding and activation experiences
• Lead research, rapid prototyping, and usability testing cycles
• Partner directly with founders and engineering leadership

What We’re Looking For

We are not looking for someone who has “shipped an app.”

We are looking for someone who has shipped multiple complex products.

Required:

• 5+ years experience in mobile-first UX/UI design
• Proven experience shipping multiple consumer or B2C applications
• Experience designing systems with real-time logic or dynamic state changes
• Strong background in behavioral UX and friction reduction
• Experience building and maintaining robust design systems
• Advanced Figma proficiency

Preferred experience in:

• Trust & safety systems
• Health tech, fintech, identity, or public infrastructure
• Location-aware or real-time mobile applications
• High-sensitivity user journeys

We are prioritizing candidates with intermediate to advanced proficiency in AI-driven workflows, including practical use of AI tools to enhance design quality and efficiency.

The Design Challenges

Without revealing specifics, this role involves designing:

• Time-bound user activation experiences
• Network-based visibility models
• Interfaces that must feel calm, intentional, and privacy-respecting
