Role Overview:

You will be joining Solera as a highly skilled and motivated R2R Manager Accounting & Reporting within the finance team. Your primary responsibility will be managing the end-to-end financial closing process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of accounting professionals. Your role will be vital in enhancing financial systems and processes to drive efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture that encourages professional development.
  • Oversee and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the R2R function, streamlining workflows, and enhancing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and optimize financial systems.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MS Dynamics 365, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
