Job Description
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Social Media Coordinator for a contract assignment with one of our premier Financial clients in New York, NY. This role will be remote.
Responsibilities
- Support the Social Media Lead of Subsidiaries in executing organic social media strategy, content production, publishing, and workflow management across firm subsidiary brands in insurance and asset management.
- Ideal for a social media professional with 1–3 years of experience who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting social media programs in regulated industries and understand the importance of brand governance, compliance review, and stakeholder management.
- Own day-to-day organic social media content production and workflow management in Asana from intake through publishing.
- Manage content scheduling, publishing, tagging, QA, and channel maintenance across key social platforms.
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals with marketing, communications, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across internal teams and subsidiary brands.
- Ensure content aligns with brand standards, platform best practices, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Support social media governance processes, documentation, and playbooks.
- Track performance and provide reporting on content effectiveness, engagement, and channel health.
- Contribute to content ideation and creative briefing for platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Instagram.
- Always represent the team professionally.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, content publishing, or digital marketing.
- Experience supporting social media programs in regulated industries, preferably financial services or insurance.
- Strong experience with organic social media publishing and social content operations.
- Experience using Asana or similar project management tools to manage content workflows.
- Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Sprinklr, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of compliance approval processes and tools such as Red Oak or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Professional communication skills and a polished, dependable presence.
