Role Description
The Operational Manager – F&B & Banquets will be responsible for managing end-to-end VIP events and banquet operations, while overseeing daily F&B service operations within a corporate environment. The role requires strong leadership, operational rigor, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to deliver seamless, high-quality service experiences for senior leadership and guests.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 F&B Operations & Banqueting
- Manage and execute end-to-end VIP events within corporate premises
- Oversee daily F&B service operations, ensuring premium quality and service standards
- Supervise banquet operations including setup, service flow, execution, and post-event closure
- Ensure adherence to service SOPs, hygiene, safety, and compliance standards
🔹 Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination
- Lead, train, and monitor the F&B service and banquet teams for smooth daily operations
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external vendors for seamless event planning and execution
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, especially for high-profile and VIP guests
- Address guest concerns and escalations promptly and professionally
🔹 Operational Control & Reporting
- Monitor inventory levels, cost control, manpower planning, and resource utilization
- Maintain operational discipline and service consistency across all events and services
- Prepare operational reports, MIS, and performance insights for management review
Key Requirements
🔹 Experience
- Minimum 13+ years of experience in luxury hotels or premium hospitality brands
- Strong exposure to banqueting, MICE, conferences, and large-scale events
- Proven ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced hospitality environments
