Role Description
The firm is looking for a self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced legal environment. Candidates with prior law firm experience are encouraged to apply. Experience in Estate Planning, Trusts & Estates, Probate, or Elder Law is preferred, but the firm is open to candidates from other legal backgrounds who demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and the ability to learn quickly.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Trust & Estate matters
- Prepare, review, and organize legal documents and client files
- Coordinate client meetings, document signings, and follow-up communications
- Maintain calendars, deadlines, and case management systems
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, financial institutions, and outside parties
- Assist with trust and estate administration matters
- Provide administrative and legal support as needed
Qualifications
- Prior law firm experience required
- Experience in Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law, or Trust & Estate Administration preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and strong work ethic
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
Salary range $24/hour to $30/hour but open to more seasoned candidates
