Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a Network & Microsoft 365 Administrator to support and enhance our organization's network infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environment. This role blends traditional network administration with modern cloud-service management, requiring strong technical troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and a security-first mindset.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing user accounts, licenses, applications, and security across Microsoft 365, while also maintaining the servers, network devices, and infrastructure that support these services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other may be assigned.

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Lead administration of Microsoft 365 services (Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and license assignments.
  • Configure and maintain security features such as MFA, conditional access, data protection, and compliance policies.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues across the M365 ecosystem.
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support to resolve escalated Microsoft 365-related incidents.

Network & Infrastructure Administration

  • Maintain and support on-premises and cloud-connected network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and wireless equipment.
  • Monitor network performance, uptime, and security; address connectivity issues.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, firmware upgrades, and backups.
  • Ensure the network infrastructure supports a reliable and secure Microsoft 365 environment.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement, enforce, and monitor security policies across both on-prem and Microsoft Entra environment.
  • Continuously monitor and improve security posture to mitigate risks
  • Ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.

Technical Support & Documentation

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting support to end users and technical staff.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams as needed.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Intune/Endpoint Manager for device, compliance, security baseline, and application management.
  • Hands‑on experience deploying and managing Windows Autopilot for automated device provisioning.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation skills (including AI‑assisted automation).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and cloud identity management.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve cloud‑based Microsoft 365, Intune, and identity‑related technical issues.
  • Familiarity with modern device management, security policies, and compliance configurations.

Certificates and Licenses

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred, such as:
  • MS‑102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator)
  • MS‑900 (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals)
  • AZ‑900 (Azure Fundamentals)
  • SC‑900 (Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals)

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or in a similar cloud‑focused IT role.
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Language Ability

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation and business communications.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries from end users, internal teams, or organizational leadership.
  • Ability to write professional emails and technical documentation in a clear and standardized format.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, analyze issues, and implement solutions.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and documentation in various forms.

Compensation: $79,500 - $119,200
