Job Title: Node JS Developer with AWS

Type: Contract

Location: Ontario, Canada(Remote)

Mandatory Skills: NodeJS and Typescript and AWS

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new software systems and features.
• Modify and maintain existing systems to meet changing business requirements.
• Drive software change management processes and contributes to release management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure robust application performance.
• Development using AWS OpenSearch

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum and mandated qualifications:

• The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Software Developer Engineer.
• AWS technologies such as AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, AWS Batch Jobs, PostgreSQL, AWS OpenSearch
• NodeJS and Typescript.
• Unit and integration testing
• Micro-services
• REST APIs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach to application development and deployment.

Additional Qualifications:

• The following skills are considered a plus and may help distinguish top candidates:
• Integration experience with Terraform and AWS Secrets and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
• Experience building CI/CD processes and workflows
