Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong mortgage domain expertise to join our team in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in enterprise data environments, advanced SQL, and Agile methodologies, along with the ability to translate business needs into actionable data insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with application owners to review and analyze business processes
- Define and document technical and data requirements for enhancements
- Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum teams on features and design decisions
- Develop and execute test plans, evaluate results, and perform post-production validations
- Conduct requirement analysis for new capabilities and product enhancements
- Communicate product vision, capabilities, and business value to stakeholders
- Provide training, consultation, and mentorship to team members
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Data Analysis
- Strong expertise in SQL and database querying (Advanced level)
- Experience working in enterprise Data Warehouse (DWH) environments
- Strong background in data-driven applications and analytics
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Mortgage Industry (Required to understand mortgage data)
- Prior experience with Secondary Mortgage firms (Plus)
- Knowledge of software requirements management and testing
