Sales Engineer - Laser Machine

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in industries such as automotive, fabrication, electronics, and manufacturing.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Generate leads through cold calling, site visits, exhibitions, and references.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.

Technical Support & Solution Selling:

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable laser machine solutions (cutting, engraving, welding, marking).
• Provide pre-sales technical consultation and post-sales support.
• Coordinate with application and service teams for machine trials and installations.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
• Handle customer queries, negotiations, and closing deals.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
• Provide feedback to management for product improvements and strategy planning.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports.
• Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline updates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred but not mandatory).

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of industrial machines (laser cutting, CNC, automation preferred).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and applications.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Experience

• 2–6 years of experience in industrial equipment/machinery sales (preferably laser or CNC machines).
