Job Description
Team Leader - Software
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize cloud hosted databases: PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Redis, MongoDB.
- Perform routine database operations such as backups, restores, replication configuration, and monitoring.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of database systems in production environments.
- Diagnose and resolve database performance bottlenecks, including query tuning and resource optimization.
- Implement database security best practices, auditing, and compliance controls.
- Work closely with application teams to support development, deployments, and data related troubleshooting.
- Perform capacity planning and recommend improvements to ensure optimal database performance.
- Participate in on call rotations for production support.
- Support migration projects, upgrades, patching, and adoption of new cloud native database features.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator DBA in cloud environments.Experience Level
