Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong experience in Angular and Django to support the development and enhancement of the DATAstream Frontend and DATAstream MDM platform. This role will focus on building scalable UI components, integrating backend APIs, and supporting master data management workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular
Build reusable UI components for DATAstream frontend modules
Integrate Angular frontend with Django REST APIs
Develop backend services using Django and Django REST Framework
Support DATAstream MDM workflows including data stewardship, governance, and hierarchy management
Implement role-based access control and security best practices
Optimize application performance and scalability
Collaborate with data engineers and architects on API design
Participate in code reviews and follow development standards
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes
Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of web development experience
Strong expertise in Angular (v12 or higher preferred)
Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
Experience with Django and Django REST Framework
Strong knowledge of REST API integration
Experience with authentication (OAuth, JWT, SSO)
Familiarity with Git-based version control
Understanding of MDM concepts and data governance workflows
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with DATAstream platform
Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) tools
Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud environments
Experience with containerization (Docker)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with UI frameworks (Material UI, Bootstrap, etc.)
Knowledge of data visualization libraries (Chart.js, D3, etc.)
Responsibilities Specific to DATAstream MDM
Develop data stewardship dashboards
Build entity management screens
Implement hierarchy and relationship management UI
Support data quality rule configuration screens
Build approval workflow interfaces
Develop audit trail and lineage views
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have
Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks
Experience with Python data processing libraries
Understanding of enterprise data architecture
