Role Overview:
At Slikk, you will be responsible for driving forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, and assortment planning across the inbound supply chain network. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex operational problems using data, automation, and technology in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage pin-code level demand forecasting models across categories and SKUs.
- Analyze demand trends, seasonality, customer behavior, and sales velocity to improve forecast accuracy.
- Partner with category, buying, and supply chain teams for replenishment and inventory planning.
- Identify stock-out risks, excess inventory situations, and forecast gaps proactively.
- Monitor inventory health across warehouses and dark stores.
- Optimize assortment planning and SKU rationalization using demand, contribution, and inventory metrics.
- Drive inventory turns, in-stock availability, and working capital efficiency.
- Analyze ageing inventory, dead stock, and slow-moving SKUs and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze inbound supply chain metrics including procurement planning, vendor fill rates, replenishment cycles, and inventory flow.
- Improve supplier performance visibility and replenishment efficiency through analytics.
- Automate recurring reporting and operational workflows using Python and SQL.
- Build scalable analytical models, forecasting tools, and reporting frameworks.
- Work closely with Category, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Product teams.
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership.
- Monitor market trends, customer demand patterns, and competitive benchmarks in quick commerce.
Qualifications Required:
- 25 years of experience in supply chain analytics, demand planning, inventory analytics, or ecommerce operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Excel, and BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau/Looker.
- Strong understanding of inventory planning, replenishment, forecasting, and assortment analytics.
- Prior experience in ecommerce, retail, FMCG, or quick commerce preferred.
- Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable business insights.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
