We are looking for a Sr Account Manager located in the Bonnyville, AB area.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with current customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current customers, including plant or facility executives.
- Generate and execute sales plans in the assigned customer base to meet defined territory profit increase goals.
- Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer requests, escalating as required.
- Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
- Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with ChampionX.
- Possible travel within assigned sales territory.
Position Details
- The candidate must reside in the Bonnyville, AB area.

- A valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (Driver's Abstract) are required.
- This is a safety‑sensitive position; a successful candidate will be required to complete drug and alcohol testing.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5‑10 years of chemical sales or related experience and operating experience (e.g., power engineering, chemical engineering).
- Previous petrochemical experience.
- Ability to relate to customers and their needs.
- Ability to build relationships with external stakeholders.
- Account leadership experience that includes calling on multilevel plants or facilities management to accomplish company goals.
- High computer application literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems.
- History of working autonomously in the field and ability to demonstrate self‑motivation.
- Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
Physical Demands
- Must have the ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
- Must have the ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.).
- Prior experience that required excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills.
- Account leadership experience that includes calling on multilevel plant or facilities management to accomplish company goals.
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry.
