Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Event Coordinator to join our team. This role involves planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of events to ensure seamless experiences for clients and guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, with a background in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel industries being highly advantageous. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, from initial concept to final execution, ensuring that each event aligns with client expectations and company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all event details including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and décor to create memorable experiences.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert guidance on event planning options.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service delivery to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Develop and manage budgets for each event, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Promote events through marketing initiatives and upselling techniques to maximize attendance and revenue.
  • Provide exceptional guest services by addressing client needs promptly and professionally before, during, and after events.
  • Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all logistics are executed smoothly within designated timelines.
  • Maintain detailed organizational records including schedules, vendor contacts, budgets, and client preferences.
  • Handle multiple events simultaneously while managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant management, hotel operations, or event planning preferred.
  • Strong marketing skills with the ability to promote events effectively.
  • Excellent guest services skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
  • Proficiency in upselling and negotiation techniques to enhance event profitability.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with outstanding communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Budgeting experience with a keen eye for cost control and resource allocation.
