Job Description
As a Senior Animator , you will be responsible for giving credibility and transmitting the specific emotions in each moment of the film. You should be able to understand and handle different styles of animation and bring them to the highest artistic and technica l level. As a senior, you must also help and push the team, being an example to others and showing strong consistency throughout your work, whether you are tackling body mechanics, acting, facial performance or final polish.
Responsbilities
- Create s animations at the highest artistic and technical level .
- Work s closely with the Director, S upervisor and L eads in a team environment.
- Collaborate s and proposes genuine and unique acting or movement for each assignment in alignment with the story and context.
- Plan s her/his own assignments to reach the deadlines , considering the interaction with the Director , S upervisor s and L eads.
- Keep s the characters in model , and respect the design of the production.
- Is open to professional feedback and possible changes in direction during the animation process.
- Keep s up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment .
- Works together with the team providing them with support, guidance and instruction in areas that contribute towards their artistic and professional growth.
- Follows the Supervisor's and Lead's guidance.
Requirements
- 5 years in VFX or animation industries.
- 3 years in the animation industry .
- Strong artistic or/and technical aptitude related to 3D animation is a must .
- Drawing skills are desirable.
- High English level desirable.
- Spanish desirable.
