About the Role

We are looking for a FastAPI Developer to join our Bangalore office. The role focuses on building and maintaining FastAPI services, working with large datasets, and developing reliable backend pipelines. Candidates with exposure to Node.js or browser automation tools will have an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Database Management: Create and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL or MySQL to ensure performance and reliability (mandatory).
• API Development: Build and integrate RESTful APIs for efficient communication between systems and internal tools.
• Data Processing & Extraction: Develop scripts to retrieve, filter, and process large datasets (e.g., Common Crawl, HTTP Archive, etc.), and structure outputs into clean formats such as CSV or Parquet.
• Automation & Reliability: Implement robust error handling, logging, retries, and fault-tolerant pipelines to ensure long-running processes work smoothly.
• Version Control & Deployment: Use Git and Docker for version control, containerization, and deployment workflows.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams on backend integrations, performance improvements, and scalable solutions.

What Were Looking For:

Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in Python backend development. Technical Skills: Strong experience with Python and FastAPI Experience building RESTful APIs Database experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL (mandatory) Hands-on experience with Git and Docker Ability to handle and process large datasets efficiently

Good to Have:

Experience with Playwright or Selenium Exposure to Node.js Familiarity with data pipelines or asynchronous processing Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
