Job Description

As an Analyst in our organization, your role will primarily focus on analysing procurement data using Power BI. Your responsibilities will include identifying trends, cost-saving opportunities, and optimizing procurement processes through the development of insightful dashboards and reports. You will collaborate closely with procurement teams to translate data into actionable insights. To excel in this role, you will need strong skills in data manipulation, Power BI visualization, and a thorough understanding of procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Category Managers and stakeholders to extract and align data for reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver performance insights.
  • Design and manage Power Apps to support workflow automation and process efficiency.
  • Support teams with advanced Excel tools, including pivot tables, formulas, and automation.
  • Conduct spend analysis to uncover trends and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and support data-driven Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations.
  • Generate timely reports and provide actionable insights to guide decision-making.
  • Build data models and collaborate across functions to support analytics and forecasting.
  • Drive process improvements through automation and continuous optimization initiatives.

Qualification Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Data Analytics from a top-tier University.
  • Good academic records, with 60% & above across all academics.

Experience

  • 4+ years in Data Analytics in the Manufacturing industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in Sourcing or a related discipline.
  • Experience in multi-national, global operations preferred.

Computer Skills:

  • Strong Power BI and Power Apps Expertise, including a deep understanding of Power BI functionalities such as data transformation, data modeling, DAX calculations, and visualization capabilities.
  • SQL Skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, particularly Excel, Access, or other database technologies with the ability to calculate summary, financial, and/or statistical data.

Communication & Language Proficiency:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective communication skills to present complex data findings to stakeholders across different levels.

Core Competencies and Skills Relevant to the Role:

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify patterns and form conclusions.
  • Strong research and attention to detail skills.
  • Demonstrated project management success and broad knowledge of the project management toolset.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with multiple global stakeholders.
