Systems Administrator - Journeyman

**Required Skills**:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 4-6 years of experience in systems administration or enterprise IT support.
• IAT/IAM Level I certification (e.g., A+, Network+, or equivalent).
• Experience maintaining and supporting Linux and/or Windows operating systems in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in system backup, recovery, patching, and performance tuning.
• Experience with system software installation, upgrades, and configuration management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or Azure.
• Ability to document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and change logs.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

**Desired Skills**:

• Experience supporting secure federal or defense-related IT environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Oracle VM) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Knowledge of STIGs, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity compliance.
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Exposure to capacity planning, system monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Experience supporting interface management and data integrity in integrated systems.

At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.

The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
