Mid-Level Database Administrator

We are looking for a passionate Database Administrator to support and maintain production and non-production databases of significant strategic impact across our organization. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize T-SQL performance tuning to address daily production issues.
- Perform configuration, scripting, installation, monitoring, upgrades, and administration for database management systems.
- Ensure service level agreements are met for both internal and external clients.
- Participate in off-hour production support and be available for a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Establish and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with technical and business teams.
- Manage database administration tasks including backups, point-in-time restores, and maintenance plans for mission-critical applications.
- Support key components of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Implement security best practices to protect data integrity.
- Other related tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or associate degree with three years of database administration experience, or five years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Experience with Cognizant/TriZetto Facets data model or application is a plus.
- Strong ability to create T-SQL scripts.
- Highly organized and responsible with an analytical mindset.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Experience with complex SQL databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Familiarity with SQL replication and high availability architectures.
- Programming language knowledge is a bonus.
- Health care experience is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn new platforms, such as Job Schedulers and Open-Source Databases.
- Azure experience is beneficial, but not required.

U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. Work must be performed in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm CST.
Compensation: $120,000 annually plus potential performance-based bonuses. This is a full-time position.
