Job Description
As a Data Analyst at Sigmoid, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into valuable insights that drive smarter business decisions. Your responsibilities will include understanding client business challenges, creating interactive dashboards and reports, performing data analysis, developing data models, and collaborating with data scientists and engineers to integrate analytics into business processes. You will have the opportunity to present insights and recommendations through clear storytelling and visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand client business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or Spotfire
- Perform data analysis, data quality checks, and exploratory analysis
- Develop data models, advanced DAX measures, and optimized SQL queries
- Implement Row Level Security (RLS) and enhance report performance using DAX Studio
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate analytics into business processes
- Present insights and recommendations through clear storytelling and visualizations
Qualifications Required:
- Strong experience in Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or Spotfire
- Proficiency in Advanced DAX, Data Modeling, and Row Level Security (RLS)
- Experience with DAX Studio and performance optimization
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL (queries, joins, aggregations, optimization)
- Experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, and business reporting
- Ability to perform quantitative analysis and interpret results
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Python for analytics
- Familiarity with statistical or machine learning techniques
- Experience in storyboarding and client presentations
