Job Description
As a Mechanical Analyst at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and calculating steam turbine components, conducting various types of mechanical analyses, and optimizing designs to meet Siemens rules and methods. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving lives, protecting the climate, and furthering human achievements worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform overall mechanical analysis and stress analysis of steam turbine components, both rotating and stationary, as well as rotodynamic analysis of rotor trains.
- Conduct static, transient, linear, nonlinear, fatigue, thermal, and structural analyses as per requirements.
- Interpret analysis results, provide design change solutions, and optimize designs.
- Ensure seamless transfer of structural integrity calculation input and output between the design team and project lead.
Qualifications Required:
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a top Engineering college (preferably IIT/NIT) with CGPA > 8.0.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Stress Analysis FEA or Rotordynamic Analysis/Vibration Analysis.
- Strong theoretical fundamentals in Mechanics and Vibrations are essential.
- Knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM) software, preferably ABAQUS or ANSYS, is desirable.
- Familiarity with Steam or Gas turbine will be advantageous.
- Must be a team player, proactive, and capable of providing engineering solutions within a short time frame with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
