Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role in the New York City Metropolitan Area as a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions. Day-to-day tasks will include back-end web development, programming, debugging, and implementing scalable solutions that contribute to the evolution of SideShift’s innovative marketplace platform. QualificationsProficiency in programming and object-oriented programming (OOP)Strong background in computer science and software development methodologiesExperience in back-end web development, specifically in building and maintaining server-side applicationsStrong problem-solving abilities and knowledge of system designExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a teamFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure or distributed systems is a plusBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 130-250k Per year
