Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Engineer to develop business opportunities for our range of Industrial Enclosures (Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Explosion-Proof Enclosures) across Western India.
The ideal candidate may currently be working in Inside Sales, Estimation, Technical Support, Application Engineering, or Customer Support within the electrical, enclosure, panel-building, automation, or industrial manufacturing sector and is eager to move into an external sales role.
This position requires a combination of technical understanding, relationship-building skills, and commercial acumen to generate inquiries, secure approvals, convert opportunities into orders, and expand SichVolt's presence across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Develop and expand sales of:
- Stainless Steel (SS304 / SS316) Enclosures
- Aluminum Enclosures
- Explosion-Proof (Ex) Enclosures
- Junction Boxes
- Terminal Boxes
- Control Panel Enclosures
- Customized Industrial Enclosure Solutions
- Identify and develop new customers across Gujarat and Maharashtra.
- Generate inquiries and convert them into profitable orders.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Consultant & Project Engagement
- Establish relationships with:
- EPC Contractors
- Panel Builders
- OEMs
- Electrical Consultants
- Design Houses
- System Integrators
- Industrial End Users
- Track upcoming projects and secure product approvals and specifications.
- Promote SichVolt products during project design and procurement stages.
Technical & Commercial Activities
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable enclosure solutions.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and RFQs.
- Coordinate with the internal sales and engineering teams for quotation preparation.
- Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
- Support customers through technical discussions and product evaluations.
Territory Management
- Manage assigned territory efficiently through cluster-based travel planning.
- Maintain regular customer visit schedules and activity reports.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
- Identify new opportunities within:
- Oil & Gas
- Chemical & Petrochemical
- Pharmaceuticals
- Water & Wastewater

- Provide market feedback to management for business growth and product development.
Qualifications
Education
- Diploma in:
- Electrical Engineering (EE)
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Mechanical Engineering (ME)
OR
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
Experience
Required
- 2–3 years of experience in:

Compensation & Benefits
Fixed Salary
₹3.0 – ₹5.0 Lakhs per annum
