Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Articled Assistant / Paid Assistant / Experienced Accountant based in Chennai. Responsibilities include managing clients books of accounts, preparing MIS Reports, financial statements, conducting statutory audits, Tax Audit, handling Income Tax, TDS, GST, ROC Filings and assisting with applicable compliance-related activities.

Qualifications

• Robust foundation in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and preparation of financial statements
• Knowledge of Taxation, GST, and Tax Filings
• Experience in Statutory Audits, Internal Audits, and Compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Qualified CA/ CMA / CA or CMA-Inter Qualified/ M. Com / MBA (Finance) / B. Com is required
• Relevant work experience in a similar role and familiarity with Chennai's local compliance needs is a plus
