Assistant Manager - Veterinary Doctor

Role & responsibilities

• Lead capacity building and training of field teams and farmers on animal nutrition and dairy best practices
• Provide technical support to model dairy farms and ensure quality standards (Fat%, SNF%, MBRT) are maintained
• Plan and implement animal nutrition, ration balancing, and fodder development programs
• Coordinate with Government departments (Animal Husbandry, Agriculture) and other stakeholders for project execution
• Monitor AI (Artificial Insemination) projects, progeny evaluation, and post-delivery animal health services
• Conduct farmer awareness programs, health camps, and extension activities to improve productivity
• Identify field-level challenges and design solutions to improve service delivery and farmer outcomes
• Perform market surveys, field studies, and support data-driven decision-making for nutrition projects

Job Specifications

Education

• Masters in Veterinary Science (Animal Nutrition) or BVSc & A.H.

Experience

• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in field of applied animal nutrition

• Animal Nutrition & Fodder Development, Animal Feed Industry

• Ration Balancing Software. Any other MIS Tool, MPP
