Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Transportation Logistics Manager located in Pune City.

The Transportation Logistics

Manager will be responsible for planning and managing logistics operations, optimizing transportation processes, and coordinating deliveries.

Key responsibilities include managing vendor and client relationships, monitoring shipment schedules, ensuring cost-effective strategies, and maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. The manager will also oversee staff and strive to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong planning and organizational skills, with an emphasis on managing logistics and optimizing transportation operations.
• Experience in managing vendor and customer relationships, as well as coordinating delivery schedules.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in data analysis, cost management, and using logistics software or tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to improve process efficiency.
• Experience in the transportation or logistics industry preferred, but not mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is desirable.
