Role Description The Beauty Advisor is a part-time, on-site role based in Prince Albert, SK, focused on delivering knowledgeable and friendly service in the beauty department. This role includes greeting customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate skin care, cosmetic, and beauty products to support their goals and preferences. The Beauty Advisor helps customers with product demonstrations, shade matching, and application tips while maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales area. Daily responsibilities include replenishing stock, setting up displays, processing sales, and supporting promotional activities. The role also involves staying current on product lines, trends, and brand standards to provide accurate information and an engaging shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology and Skin Care knowledge, with the ability to provide basic consultations and tailored product recommendations.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, approachability, and a supportive, inclusive attitude toward all customers.
• Retail Sales experience and Product Knowledge, with the ability to explain features, benefits, and usage of beauty and skin care items.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings and weekends, while maintaining professionalism and accuracy at the cash.
• Effective verbal communication skills and comfort engaging with a diverse range of customers.
• Attention to detail in merchandising, inventory rotation, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the beauty area.
• Previous experience in beauty, cosmetics, or retail is an asset; relevant certifications or training in aesthetics or cosmetology are considered an advantage.
