Store cum Logistics Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Store cum Logistics Engineer to manage inventory, warehouse operations, and logistics coordination. The role requires a combination of technical understanding and operational efficiency to ensure smooth material flow and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Management:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movement, and material issuance
• Monitor stock levels and initiate timely procurement requests
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and audits

Logistics & Dispatch:

• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics
• Ensure timely dispatch of materials to clients/sites
• Coordinate with transporters and vendors for smooth delivery
• Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain GRN, invoices, delivery challans, and stock registers
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on inventory and logistics

Coordination:

• Work closely with procurement, production, and project teams
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in store and logistics management
• Experience in handling both technical materials and inventory systems
• Good knowledge of ERP systems / MS Excel
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing / sheet metal industry
• Knowledge of inventory control techniques (FIFO, LIFO, etc.)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
