Senior Network Security Engineer

4 additional years of applicable professional experience may be substituted for a degree One of these certs: CISSP, CASP+ CE, CISA, CCNP Security, CCNA, GCED, GCIH, CCSP Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, plan, and implement scalable network solutions, new network layouts, and upgrades. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software. Implement and manage network security measures, including firewall rules, access controls, and security protocols to protect data.

Resolve network issues. Monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve visibility through metrics and alerting. Create and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures Required Experience: Proficient with Linux.

Linux system administration experience is a plus. Security+ certification. Desired Experience: Should have working knowledge, able to use and or support, with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools.

Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls Palo Alto firewalls Linux servers Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
