Job Description

**What You’ll Be Doing**

  • Enforcing policies and procedures to control access to administrative and production database(s).
  • Developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure data access, integrity, and availability when changing the production database.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Your research and analysis skills will help to facilitate the measurement, interpretation and presentation of information in the most impactful way.

You enjoy balancing many different tasks, staying organized and planning and have the ability to integrate multiple streams of information, prioritize and track multiple projects to meet a demanding workload and keep things running smoothly.

You enjoy a start-up environment where you can support the day-to-day work while also seeing the bigger picture vision and strategy. You are comfortable with entering unchartered territory and spotting new opportunities.

  • Minimum 3-year diploma/degree in computer science or information technology related field.
  • Minimum of 8-years experience working with information systems is required, including a minimum of 5-years of administering relational databases including but not limited to Oracle within a PeopleSoft environment, and/or Microsoft SQL Server. (equivalencies to be considered)
  • 2-years minimum development experience working with database technical tools and knowledge of database backup and recovery techniques, Peoplesoft Internet architecture, SQL, Unix, Linux, and Windows is an asset.
  • Formal certification in Oracle or MS Sql Server database administration is desired.
