Duration: 24 hrs inspection coverage - one day

Coverage Requirement: Inspection coverage may include continuous and/or extended shift support depending on production activities and Hold/Witness point requirements.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Vendor Inspector with strong experience in CRA lined pipe manufacturing to support vendor inspection activities at Gujarat, India.

The inspector will be responsible for performing inspection and surveillance activities in accordance with client Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), approved procedures, and project quality requirements. The role will involve attendance at key Hold, Witness, and Inspection points during manufacturing, testing, and qualification activities.

The assignment may require flexibility to support concurrent inspection activities and extended inspection coverage based on production schedules and client requirements.

Scope of Work

• Perform vendor inspection activities during CRA lined pipe manufacturing
• Attend and verify Hold, Witness, and Inspection points as defined within client ITPs
• Review manufacturing records, procedures, and quality documentation
• Monitor welding activities and verify compliance with approved WPS/PQR requirements
• Witness and review NDT activities and reports
• Conduct dimensional inspections and verify compliance with project specifications
• Attend MPQT activities where applicable
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and communicate inspection status to the client
• Coordinate with vendor QA/QC personnel and client representatives
• Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with project quality requirements and applicable international standards

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience in CRA / lined pipe manufacturing inspection
• Previous experience with major pipe manufacturing vendors will be considered an advantage

• NDT inspection
• Dimensional inspection
• Familiarity with:
• ITP-driven inspection activities
• Vendor surveillance and reporting
• Manufacturing quality control processes
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent inspection activities within a manufacturing environment
• Good communication and reporting skills in English

Preferred Certifications

• CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or equivalent welding inspection certification
• ASNT Level II or equivalent NDT qualifications
• Relevant QA/QC inspection certifications

Language Requirement

• Fluent English communication skills required
