Job Description

As a Global QA/QC Coordinator, your role involves managing and coordinating international inspection and expediting activities from enquiry receipt through completion and invoicing. You are responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration across regional teams, maintaining service quality standards, supporting KPI achievement, and enhancing customer experience through structured global coordination and digital process optimization.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Global Inspection Coordination

Receive and acknowledge inspection enquiries within defined service level timelines.

Review scope of work and documentation for completeness.

Allocate assignments to regional offices or coordinate execution through approved inspectors.

Identify and confirm inspector availability, competence, and commercial acceptance.

Prepare submission documentation and customer quotations.

Confirm bookings and issue inspection documentation.

Maintain clear communication with clients and regional stakeholders.

  • Report & Quality Management

Ensure inspection reports are submitted within agreed turnaround times.

Review reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client requirements.

Escalate urgent non-conformances promptly.

Coordinate resolution of technical queries with relevant technical authorities.

  • Billing & Payment Coordination

Verify billing quantities and rates prior to invoice release.

Ensure inspector timesheets and expenses are validated.

Coordinate timely and accurate payments aligned with customer invoicing.

  • Contract & Compliance Administration

Support execution of international contracts in alignment with company procedures.

Maintain accurate documentation and system records.

Ensure adherence to corporate integrity, compliance, and professional conduct standards.

  • Digital & Process Optimization

Promote the use of digital inspection and coordination systems.

Support the transition from manual to digital workflows.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and transparency.

In addition to the core competencies required for this role, your skills and knowledge should include:

Essential

Experience in inspection coordination or expediting

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Ability to work within global and cross-functional teams

Client-facing communication confidence

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; good knowledge of Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Ability to work effectively within deadline-driven environments

Desirable

Experience using inspection management systems

Familiarity with digital workflow platforms and document management systems

The ideal candidate should have 35 years of experience in inspection, expediting, or quality coordination roles, exposure to vendor inspection processes within industrial, manufacturing, or energy projects, experience in sourcing and evaluating inspectors, and the ability to interpret contractual and technical documentation.

Education & Certifications:

Essential

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality, or Business Administration (or equivalent)

Desirable

Technical certifications in Welding, Coating, NDT, or Electrical disciplines
