Lead Analyst (Private Equity)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end financial analysis including DCF, LBO, and fund modeling to support investment decisions.
• Prepare high-impact investment memorandums, sector reports, and competitive landscape analysis for sponsor-led deals.
• Perform detailed financial benchmarking, trading and transaction comps, and evaluation of term sheets.
• Manage periodic portfolio valuations and maintain operating models for existing PE investments.
• Lead client onboarding and front-face discussions to translate unstructured requests into actionable project workflows.
• Directly manage a team of 2-3 analysts, providing technical training and conducting rigorous quality checks on all deliverables.
• Utilize premium databases like Bloomberg, CapIQ, and Pitchbook to conduct secondary research and prepare investment theses.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Private Equity research or investment banking services.
• Education: MBA Finance or CFA Level 2/3 (Charterholders preferred).
• Technical Expertise: Advanced Excel modeling and deep familiarity with PE fund structures.
• Tools:Expert-level usage of Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and Pitchbook.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent professional communication in English.
