Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role located in Kalyan Dombivli. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial records, maintaining accounts, assisting in audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include recording daily transactions, managing invoices and payments, reconciling bank statements, assisting in budget preparation, and generating financial reports. The Junior Accountant will collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate bookkeeping and support internal financial processes.

Qualifications

• Accounting and bookkeeping skills, including hands-on knowledge of financial systems such as Tally, Xero, QuickBooks, and other accounting software.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime for day-to-day transaction recording, GST filing support, and ledger management, with experience in Xero for cloud-based bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with numerical data accurately.
• Understanding of tax compliance and audit processes, with familiarity with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for managing financial data and creating reports.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA Inter candidates are preferred and strongly encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in financial roles and understanding of general accounting principles is a plus.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
