Job Description

The ServiceNow Brand & Strategy team is a passionate team of creative thinkers responsible for shaping the future of the ServiceNow brand. We are looking for an Associate Creative Director to contribute to the vision for the ServiceNow brand and drive design excellence across the organization—across every channel and touchpoint, internal and external.

This role is responsible for executing and evolving the ServiceNow brand identity, contributing to a design-led vision across ServiceNow’s brand ecosystem globally. The ideal candidate has a passion for craft and a talent for creative development with meticulous attention to execution.

The Associate Creative Director will elevate design quality, contribute to an inclusive design culture, and partner seamlessly across the ServiceNow organization. An ideal candidate is curious about technology, can build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, and bring both strategic thinking and hands-on craft to their work.

They have experience leading projects with internal teams, freelancers, and external agencies—and they thrive in ambiguity, adopt new processes readily, and embrace change.

An ideal candidate will have a strong background in design systems and a proven track record of contributing to integrated brand efforts. They are comfortable working hands-on with creative tools and thrive at taking projects from initial briefing through to final delivery.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the global brand identity for ServiceNow products and services, ensuring quality, consistency, and scalability across all touchpoints
Deliver original, breakthrough brand systems and design solutions that serve a global audience
Support and strengthen brand design culture through enabling world-class design
Apply rigorous ways of working to improve performance, quality, and integrated approaches to execution
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Business partners to contribute to holistic brand systems
Work closely with the Brand Design Director and Executive Creative Director, and cross-functional partners to ensure design work is aligned and impactful

To be successful in this role you have:

Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
6–9 years of experience in design, with meaningful exposure to building consumer or enterprise brands
Experience leading with creative vision, purpose, and a commitment to craft
Experience developing brand directions that solve business problems
Experience working within brand architecture and portfolio brand systems
Exposure to integrated design work across traditional, digital, and experiential channels
Experience managing and collaborating with internal teams, freelancers, and external agencies
Strong ability to collaborate and drive alignment across highly cross-functional teams
Exceptional communication skills—able to present work clearly and confidently from strategy to execution
Experience partnering with and influencing marketing and creative leadership
Expert with creative tools including Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Miro
Experience in photo art direction a plus

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $165,500 - $289,600, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
