This program focuses on applied clinical research practices, including clinical trial design, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), monitoring and operations, regulatory compliance, and data analysis. Students develop industry-aligned competencies to support safe, ethical, and effective clinical trials within the life sciences sector.
We welcome applications for part-time teaching opportunities. Course assignments are based on scheduling and instructional needs. Contract faculty typically teach up to 6 hours per week. While some courses may be offered online or in a hybrid format, availability for on-campus teaching is often preferred. Education
- Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred
- Certifications in Clinical Research (e.g., GCP Certification, CRC Certification)
Experience
- Demonstrated post-secondary teaching experience and/or significant recent industry experience in clinical research
- Practical experience in clinical trials, monitoring, drug development, or research operations
- Experience in clinical auditing, regulatory compliance, or data analysis
- Experience mentoring or training students or junior professionals is an asset
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical trial processes
- Understanding of clinical trial design, methodology, and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to connect theory to applied industry practice
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to clinical research data and compliance
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
