IT Systems Support Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented IT Systems Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will support the organization's technology infrastructure, digital systems, cybersecurity practices, adoption of AI tools and IT project implementation by coordinating technology solutions, monitoring technology performance, liaising with contractors, and supporting users under the direction and overall accountability of the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordination of IT services with the contracted IT provider
• Support for hardware, software, data systems, telecommunications, and A/V
• Coordination and technical support for ShareVision functionality
• Monitoring technology needs and supporting the Technology Plan
• Cybersecurity, digital privacy, and legislative compliance support
• Support for Foundation website and social media from a technology/privacy/security perspective
• Technical setup for meetings and events (A/V, devices, connectivity)
• Support implementation of an AI enablement roadmap including AI user enablement and training coordination, AI governance support.

SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Certificate or coursework in IT, information systems, or related field
• Experience with software setup and feature developments
• Experience in technology support or contractor coordination
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and digital privacy best practices
• Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills
• Experience in the non-profit sector an asset
• Strong interpersonal communication, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team and maintain confidentiality
• Clear Criminal Record Check
• Class 5 driver’s license and access to transportation preferred
• Strong desire to function as part of the staff team of UNITI
