Creative 3D Designer for Custom Enclosures and Mechanical Parts

Design and model bespoke enclosures and mechanical components with a focus on biosensor technology. Collaborate closely with engineers to bring inventive solutions to life through 3D printing.

In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to produce custom designs that meet a variety of sensor needs. Work rigorously on crafting 3D files and preparing technical documents, while engaging with iterative feedback for continuous improvement. Your creativity and attention to detail will be vital in ensuring functional and ergonomic designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop models for sensor housings and fixtures
• Generate STL, OBJ, and STEP files for printing
• Compose precise technical drawings
• Modify designs based on lab input
• Ensure designs are compact and ergonomic

Requirements

• Experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD
• Strong grasp of mechanical tolerances
• Knowledge of 3D printing materials and processes
• Familiarity with assembly fitment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
