Venture Capital Fund Accounting Associate

Support venture capital investments with your expertise as a Fund Accounting Associate. This remote role involves managing fund accounting tasks and applying your knowledge of cryptocurrency assets.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience in fund accounting or public accounting, emphasizing closed-end private investments. You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely client deliverables and investor allocations. Your proficiency in Excel and practical experience with cryptocurrencies will enhance our financial operations and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare client engagement accounting data accurately
• Reconcile all portfolio and cash activity records
• Manage the accrual of fund expenses according to GAAP
• Prepare quarterly net asset values and financial statements
• Correspond with clients and address their inquiries

Requirements

• 3+ years in fund or public accounting
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting or finance
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• CPA, CFA, or MBA credentials preferred
