Securitas Technology Corporation (STC) is experiencing tremendous success and is looking for a team-oriented individual to join us as an Embedded Technician. If you have vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! In this position, you will provide exceptional service on STC products at customer sites, handling all post-installation issues related to security systems and equipment. You may also assist with special project work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Service intrusion, CCTV, and access control security systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems, ensuring they operate smoothly.
- Complete maintenance tasks efficiently to minimize emergency calls, aiming for zero callbacks.
- Assist in the start-up of new equipment or system installations, ensuring operations meet required standards.
- Plan schedules and assist with the installation and check-out of new systems.
- Maintain a professional appearance in both personal and vehicle presentation.
- Work safely and remain within specified cost limits.
- Foster strong customer relationships to promote contract retention.
- Keep accurate documentation and adhere to company policies, including safety regulations.
- Stay updated on new developments in products and technology.
- Participate in requested training programs.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required; Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
- Must possess EL06 License.
- 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing Access Control and CCTV systems.
- Certifications such as CCure 900, Lenel, and Victor/Video Edge are beneficial.
- Familiarity with door hardware troubleshooting, Software House Controllers, automatic door openers, video systems, and IP technology.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Client environments, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- A positive attitude and robust work ethic.
- Capable of climbing ladders up to 24 ft. and carrying up to 75 pounds.
- Willingness to be on-call for after-hours and weekend emergency calls.
- A valid state driver’s license without restrictions is required.
