Journeyman Carpenter

Scott’s Home Remodeling is looking for a new team member with 3 to 8 years of experience. Must be clean cut, friendly and personable, likes challenges, and take pride in doing a job the right way for our customers. This position is a perfect opportunity for a hard driven individual that loves challenges that test their abilities to figure things out. All our team members have a long history together and enjoy sharing our knowledge. As you are given tasks on our jobs you can expect us to not only tell you how we want it done, but why. We often dive deep into how to approach a task, or the principles behind how we want it done. This position is perfect for a younger individual who has developed some skills but feels like they have a drive to learn that isn't being fulfilled where they are. With us you can expect to develop skills with electrical, plumbing, tiling, foundation water issues, screen porches and more.

Requirements

• Experience with some or all of the following. drywall work, painting, tiling, building decks, kitchens, and bathrooms
• Must have tools and vehicle
• Must have a smart phone
• Must provide references and willing to take a background check
• must be willing to take a short aptitude test.
