We are seeking motivated, outgoing individuals interested in a part-time, entry-level sales and marketing position that involves door-to-door marketing for Scholars Edge Painting.

You will be working in Burnaby, specifically in neighbourhoods such as Capitol Hill, Brentwood, and Willingdon Heights.

The Job:

• Canvassing residential neighbourhoods in Burnaby to introduce homeowners to our professional painting services
• Engaging residents in friendly, confident conversations
• Building rapport and identifying potential client needs
• Handling objections and answering basic service questions
• Scheduling free estimates for the sales team
• Tracking leads and attending weekly progress meetings
• Distributing marketing materials (flyers, door-hangers, business cards)
• Representing Scholars Edge with a professional, positive attitude

Compensation Plan:

$18.00/hour to start for individuals new to door-to-door marketing

$5.00 bonus for every qualified lead

$10.00 bonus for every booked estimate

Opportunity to move to a commission-only structure after demonstrating consistent performance and estimate booking ability.

This compensation structure rewards strong performance and can be very lucrative for motivated individuals.

• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Is looking for a stepping stone into sales, marketing, or entrepreneurship

• Understands and is motivated by an hourly + bonus pay structure

You will play a key role in expanding brand awareness and growing our customer base in Burnaby.

Your Responsibilities:

• 6–10 hours per week to start
• Flexible shift options:
• 2–3 hour weekday shifts
• 3–4 hour weekend shifts
• Door-to-door canvassing in designated Burnaby neighbourhoods
• Booking estimates directly at the door using a shared Google Calendar
• Collecting client information (name, phone number, address)
• Handling objections respectfully and professionally
