As a Supply & Distribution Logistics Coordinator at Schaeffler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth material flow to meet production and customer requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, coordinating, and controlling material flow to meet production and customer requirements.
- Managing procurement, inventory levels, and material availability.
- Optimizing supply chain operations to reduce cost and lead time.
- Monitoring stock levels, conducting regular inventory audits, and preventing shortages/excess.
- Collaborating with vendors for timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Maintaining accurate material records in ERP systems (SAP).
- Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Coordinating with production, logistics, and warehouse teams for seamless operations.
- Analyzing material usage trends and supporting demand forecasting.
- Driving continuous improvement in material handling and storage processes.
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- Graduation in Business Administration or Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in Material Management, preferably in the Automotive Aftermarket Industry.
- Strong MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) skills and SAP - SD & MM Module.
- Strong communication skills, preferably multi-lingual (English, Hindi, and regional language).
