Reporting to: Project Head
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/ Civil Engineering,or related discipline with EDGE Expert certification.
Experience: 1+ year of experience in Green Building
Role Overview
Savvy Greens is seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong EDGE Expert with at least 1 year of professional experience in green building certification, sustainability analysis, or energy modeling. The candidate will support project teams on EDGE assessments, coordinate with consultants and internal stakeholders, and ensure high-quality certification documentation.
Key Responsibilities
1. EDGE Certification & Technical Analysis
- Lead and support EDGE certification for residential and commercial projects.
- Perform detailed resource efficiency assessments for energy, water, and embodied energy in materials.
- Develop, review, and update EDGE models (Design and As-Built stages).
- Validate project data, architectural drawings, MEP specifications, and material schedules for compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and site teams to obtain required documentation.
2. Documentation & Quality Assurance
- Prepare complete EDGE submission packages with narratives, calculations, and evidence sheets.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to IFC EDGE guidelines.
- Conduct internal reviews to ensure compliance with project sustainability targets.
3. Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with design, procurement, and execution teams to integrate EDGE requirements.
- Provide technical advice to project managers, site engineers, and consultants.
- Assist in client presentations, internal reviews, and sustainability workshops.
4. Site Support (On-Site Role)
- Conduct site visits for As-Built verification and documentation collection.
- Monitor construction practices to ensure adherence to EDGE strategies.
- Liaise with site teams to resolve gaps in sustainability implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of:
- EDGE App
- Building energy fundamentals
- Water efficiency and sustainable material strategies
- Basic project coordination
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and documentation workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other green rating systems (EDGE, IGBC, GRIHA, WELL, LEED).
- Familiarity with energy simulation or embodied carbon tools.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently on-site and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
Pay: From ₹600,000.00 per year
