Position: Lead Solution Engineer - iOS

Position Summary:

Lead Solution Engineer - iOS brings deep mobile and web application development expertise to Saviant's clients operating in the retail, eCommerce, and logistics sectors. This is a highly technical, client-facing role focused on designing, architecting, and delivering production-grade iOS and web applications that drive business outcomes across complex, domain-rich environments.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of iOS development experience, a solid grasp of AWS cloud services, and meaningful exposure to the retail and eCommerce industry. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate domain-specific requirements into high-quality, scalable mobile and web solutions.

Your Role & Responsibilities at Saviant:

• Design, architect, and develop production-grade iOS applications for clients in the retail, eCommerce, and logistics domains.
• Build and maintain web and mobile applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and exceptional user experience.
• Leverage AWS services to design and implement cloud-backed mobile solutions covering storage, authentication, APIs, and notifications.
• Translate complex retail and eCommerce business requirements into robust, maintainable application features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Carry out end-to-end technical development, testing, and deployment of applications across iOS and web platforms.
• Ensure adherence to Apple platform guidelines, coding best practices, and enterprise-grade quality standards.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and platform-specific challenges in mobile applications.
• Continuously upgrade your knowledge of emerging iOS technologies, eCommerce trends, and cloud-native capabilities.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

• MTech, MCA, BTech, or BE in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
• 10+ years of hands-on iOS development experience, with a strong portfolio of production applications.
• Experience delivering web and mobile applications for retail, eCommerce, or logistics clients.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Tech Stack Knowledge and Hands-on Experience:

• Expert-level proficiency in Swift and Objective-C; deep knowledge of iOS SDK, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Strong experience with iOS app architecture patterns — MVC, MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.
• Good working knowledge of AWS services relevant to mobile backends: API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Cognito, SNS, and DynamoDB.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL services into iOS and web applications.
• Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) for hybrid or web-view based features.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile — Xcode Cloud, Fastlane, or equivalent tooling.
• Understanding of eCommerce and retail domain concepts: product catalogues, inventory management, order management, and last-mile logistics.
• Experience with App Store submission processes, provisioning, and enterprise distribution.

• You take ownership of quality: from architecture decisions through to App Store delivery.
