Location: Northwestern Saskatchewan (Battleford)

Become a vital part of La Loche Health Centre as a full-time Addictions Counsellor. Support client recovery through various addiction modalities in La Loche.

As an Addictions Counsellor, you will implement programs that help clients seeking assistance with addiction-related issues. This role is full-time, with an expected 224 hours per six-week rotation, and requires a Chemical Dependency diploma. Preference is given to HSAS members per the Collective Agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and facilitate addiction recovery programs
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Monitor and document client recovery progress
• Provide counseling and emotional support to clients
• Promote healthy coping strategies among clients

Requirements

• Holding a Chemical Dependency diploma
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Commitment to client care and recovery
• Familiarity with HSAS collective terms, if applicable
• Motivation for professional development in addiction services
