We are seeking a knowledgeable paramedic professional to influence provincial regulatory initiatives. This part-time role involves collaborating with multiple committees, reviewing educational standards, and ensuring compliance with The Paramedics Act. Your contributions will enhance the standards, education, and professional conduct within the paramedic profession.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support development and review of program standards (EMR – CPP)
- Participate in program approvals for EMR and non-accredited programs
- Review and approve continuing education credits and needs
- Assist with updates on protocols and standards of practice
- Provide clinical expertise and regulatory guidance to committees
Requirements
- Registered ACP/CCP member with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
- Strong understanding of COPR’s Canadian Paramedic Competency Framework
- Experience in paramedic education and professional conduct
- Strong analytical and collaboration skills
- Ability to navigate challenging conversations with empathy
