Job Summary

\nWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Medical Assistant to support US-based healthcare providers with administrative and clinical coordination tasks. The candidate will work remotely/on-site handling patient communication, documentation, and healthcare operations efficiently.\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n

• Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-ups

\n

• Handle patient communication via calls, emails, and messages

\n

• Maintain and update patient records in EMR/EHR systems

\n

• Assist with insurance verification and prior authorization

\n

• Support medical billing and documentation processes

\n

• Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal teams

\n

• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of patient data

\n

• Prepare reports and maintain daily productivity logs

\n

\nRequired Skills:\n

\n

• Basic knowledge of US healthcare process

\n

• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems

\n

• Good communication skills (English – verbal & written)

\n

• Robust attention to detail and multitasking ability

\n

• Basic computer and typing skills

\n

• Ability to work in night shift

\n

\nEligibility Criteria:\n

\n

• Minimum 6 months to 2 years experience in VMA / Medical Assistant / Healthcare BPO

\n

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

\n

• Experience in insurance verification, scheduling, or billing is an added advantage

\n
