Role Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate must have completed B.E. Mechanical Engineering, possess strong proficiency in SolidWorks, and be based in the Chennai region. Candidates should be passionate about design, eager to learn, and willing to contribute to product development activities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create accurate 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Prepare and update manufacturing drawings, BOM, and technical documents.
• Support senior engineers in design modifications, prototyping, and development tasks.
• Ensure all designs comply with engineering standards, quality norms, and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and other cross-functional teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to project timelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

• B.E. Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory
• SolidWorks proficiency – Mandatory (Part, Assembly & Drafting)
• Strong understanding of 2D drafting, GD&T basics, and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Only Chennai-based candidates are eligible to apply.
